The city of Lincoln is located in Lancaster County, Nebraska. The city is the capital of Nebraska, and is estimated to have 283,839 residents. When it comes to driving, Lancaster County residents aren’t all that bad.

Currently, there’s no crash data specifically about Lincoln. However, the city is located in Lancaster County. And in 2019, there were 2,500 car crashes in Lancaster County. That’s not too bad, considering the county has more than 250,000 residents.

There were eight car crash fatalities caused by drunk driving. Speeding and distracted driving also caused some of the accidents. But these problems aren’t unique to Lincoln or Lancaster County. Drunk driving, speeding, and distracted driving are nationwide problems.

The United States Department of Transportation reports that in 2018, 9,378 people died as a result of speeding. And in 2018, more than 2,800 people were killed due to distracted driving.
