Believe it or not, the city of Los Angeles is actually decreasing in size.  That’s right, as of the 2018 US Census, Los Angeles only had 3.99 million permanent residents.  That number was a small decline of .23% compared to the previous calendar year.  For those living in the city, the defectors will not be missed.  The city is crowded enough as is with people enjoying the prototypical California sunshine as well as the benefits of a great economy.  The city of LA is adding jobs, increasing median household incomes, and has a property market that is surging.  It’s no wonder so many people are looking to live the LA lifestyle.

Powering the economy in Los Angeles is a workforce of over 2.06 million.  These people join others from Orange County, Ontario County, and even San Diego county as they commute all over California to get to work.  I used to be employed with the Los Angeles Clippers and I would commute from Laguna Niguel to Los Angeles to get to my job.  A one hour drive with no traffic would sometimes take me three hours.  Driving is one of the downsides of living in LA.  Traffic congestion, traffic collisions, and traffic citations are everyday occurrences for people who live here.

If you’ve received a ticket in Los Angeles, don’t worry, it’s all going to be ok.  Take an online traffic school course.  By completing the course, you’ll dismiss your ticket and get out of a big state fine.  You’ll also keep points off of your record saving you on insurance rate hikes.  It’s a great option in what is a tough situation that happens to us all once or twice in our lifetimes.
