Montgomery is a city located in Montgomery County, Alabama. It’s the capital of Alabama, and also the county seat of Montgomery County. With a population of 197,777 residents, Montgomery is the third-largest city in Alabama.

In 2019, the city was ranked as the 20th worst state for driving in Alabama. The city of Trussville was ranked as the absolute worst, and the city of Mountain Brook ranked as the absolute best. In 2018, there were 9,433 traffic accidents in Montgomery County. Twenty-five people were killed, and 3,290 were seriously injured. Overall, the entire city had an increase in traffic crashes and fatalities.
