Naperville is one of the most family-friendly cities in Illinois. The city ranked as one of the best cities for raising a family. Naperville also ranked as the 6th best city to live in all of America. The city’s population of 147,501 residents mainly consists of young professionals and budding families.

Traffic accidents are the one area in which Naperville can stand to improve. In 2019, nine Naperville residents were involved in fatal traffic accidents. There were three fatalities, and one fatal traffic accident involved a pedestrian. The statistics might seem minor when you consider Naperville’s total population, but even one traffic accident fatality is too many.

Traffic safety is something everyone should take seriously. It’s literally a matter of life and death. You’re responsible for your safety – and the safety of others – whenever you’re behind the wheel.

If you’ve received a ticket for distracted driving, speeding, or some other traffic violation, a defensive driving course is just what you need. You might get your ticket dismissed, and you’ll certainly make Naperville roads safer.
