Provo is the largest city in Utah County, Utah. It’s the third largest city in the state, and has a population of 116,403 residents. Provo also serves as the county seat for Utah County.

Provo is best known for being the home of Brigham Young University, which is a major provider of local jobs. There are also hundreds of organizations and businesses that power the local economy. Provo is also home to one of the largest Independence Day celebrations in the US – the America’s Freedom Festival at Provo.

Provo has a decent record when it comes to local drivers. In 2019 there were 4 traffic fatalities, and none of them involved driving under the influence. That’s better than the ten fatal accidents that occurred in 2018.

Are you a Provo resident who wants to become a better driver? Maybe you’ve received a traffic ticket that you’d like dismissed? A defensive driving course can possibly help. Some traffic courts will dismiss a ticket if the driver enrolls in a defensive driving course. Ask if you’re eligible for ticket dismissal if you take a defensive driving course.
