The Dallas area continues to be a popular destination for Texas residents.  The city is the third largest in Texas and the ninth most populated in the United States.  As of the last US census in 2018, the city recorded 1.35 million living in its city limits.  That number continues to grow at around .5% per calendar year.  The city has the Cowboys, the Mavericks, and Stars for entertainment.  Residents benefit from 0% state income tax.  With jobs on the rise, median household incomes increasing, and property values surging, it’s no wonder so many people are choosing to call Dallas home.

The economy in Dallas is powered by over 680,000 employees who commute to and from work at exactly the same time five days a week.  The infrastructure of the area isn’t built for so many cars.  Driving can be a stressful and chaotic experience.  It is common to experience traffic congestion, traffic collisions, and traffic citations in the city.

If you’re reading this page it’s likely that you have received a traffic citation for speeding or a distracted driving-related offense in the Dallas area.  Use this opportunity.  Not only can you dismiss your ticket with a defensive driving refresher course, but you can become a safer driver too.  The residents of Dallas will thank you for making the city a great place to live and drive when you do your part and take the defensive driving online course seriously.

Texas drivers are eligible to take a defensive driving course once every 18 months to dismiss a recent traffic ticket.  The price of such a course is minimal.  You can also complete this course with a top online provider so that you never have to leave your couch!

Texas law allows individuals to complete defensive driving classes either in person through a commercial driving school or through an online provider approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). While both options have their advantages, there's no doubt that most drivers find online courses to be the most convenient.
