Like many cities in Texas, Flower Mound is growing. Unlike many Texas cities, Flower Mound is growing through the acquisition of middle-aged and largely successful adults. With 73,252 residing in the city limits just last year, the Flower Mound area saw a growth of 2.34% compared to the previous 365 day period. 40+-year-olds have largely driven the growth as the city has a median age of 40.1. Middle-aged opportunities have skyrocketed for the affluent community. Median property value grew 9.68%, while median household income increased to $134,184 (4.48% growth). For established career-minded Texans, Flower Mound is a highly desirable destination to live.

Over 50% of the Flower Mound population is employed. That means that over 38,000 people take to the roadways on a daily basis to commute to work. With so many vehicles hitting the roadways, it’s normal to see an increase in tickets that correlates with an increase in population size. This is especially the case when the population can afford nicer cars as they often can in Flower Mound. If you’ve received a ticket, don’t fret. You can dismiss your ticket with an affordable and online defensive driving course and get out of a hefty state fine. At the same time you can also develop better skills that make the Texas roadways a safer place for all of us.

Texas drivers are eligible to take a defensive driving course every 12 months to dismiss a recent traffic ticket. The price of such a course is minimal. You can also complete this course with a top online provider so that you never have to leave your couch!

Texas law allows individuals to complete defensive driving classes either in person through a commercial driving school or through an online provider approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). While both options have their advantages, there's no doubt that most drivers find online courses to be the most convenient. After all, you can work on the course at any time of the day or night with the availability of taking breaks.
