The Alabama MVD is also known as the Alabama Motor Vehicle Division.  Most Americans commonly refer to the MVD as the DMV.  The MVD for most intents and purposes focuses on the same things the Department of Motor Vehicles does in other states.  The Motor Vehicle Division is responsible for the issuance of vehicle titles, the administration of Insurance Law, and the issuance of official regulatory licenses for the state of Alabama.

Alabama MVD Website

You can find the Alabama MVD Website here.  You can also find their website by copying and pasting the URL found in these brackets (https://revenue.alabama.gov/motor-vehicle/).  On the Alabama Motor Vehicle Division website, you can check the status of your title information, access links for vehicle registration locations and browse available license plate designs, respond to a mandatory liability insurance verification notice, and a lot more.  Forms are also available on the website so you don’t have to fill them out on-site and can prepare ahead for your MVD appointment.

Alabama Permit Test

Looking for the Alabama MVD?  You might be doing so because you’re about to take their Alabama Permit test.  Don’t mess around when it comes to the written portion of your exam.  We highly recommend taking an Alabama driver’s permit practice test.  Use a company you can trust like DMV-written-test.com.  They only use real questions from actually administered Alabama permit tests.  With a 99% pass rate, you know that what you’ll see during your practice with them is what you’ll see on the exam itself.  We don’t like wasting time.  You probably don’t either.  Make sure you’re prepared with a practice permit test so you don’t find yourself taking the written exam more than once.
